The British boxer is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight-round fight which will be shown live on Netflix.
Briton Anthony Joshua declared he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "defeat" his opponent as the pair came face-to-face to build hype for the upcoming bout.
Ex twice unified boxing king Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a mammoth mismatch - at Miami's arena on December 19th.
Boxer's Mindset
"I will break his face and damage his physique. My goal is to show I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35, said.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I'm going to seriously aim to cause him pain. That's my intention."
Respectful Exchange
In spite of such comments, a composed Anthony Joshua and social media star Paul - usually known for his showmanship - were respectful and remained civil with each other.
Jake Paul instead criticized former Joshua's opponent the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "not serious" after the Cameroonian declined a bout proposal.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Joshua, meanwhile, took aim at UK opponent Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul win.
"[Paul] is superior to Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua said.
"I respect him for that."
Serious Fighter
In spite of saying he intends to hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua refused to talk badly about his opponent's pugilistic talent.
"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he remarked.
Jake Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has primarily boxed mixed martial artists or declining opponents since entering professional boxing.
He was defeated by British fighter Fury in last year.
Financial Success
However, the relative newcomer remains one of the sport's biggest money-making draws, regularly earning huge paydays.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28 year old forecast a stoppage in round four or five and claimed he would stop the much-anticipated match between Joshua and Fury, which is reportedly under discussion for 2026.
"It's going to be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul declared.
Physical Disparity
As both boxers met for the usual confrontation, with their physical disparity on show, it drove home just how improbable this whole event is - and how amazing it is that the fight is actually proceeding.
